John Hickman has kindly provided us details of this sad news:

I was informed by one of the McNamaras (I think he was an uncle) that he had passed away when I attended the Komga School reunion last year. No one seemed to have any specific details. It would appear to be correct as he used to contact me every few years and I have not heard anything from him for at least six or seven years.

If anyone has furthe details please add them.
